Welcome to Recent File Picker! These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Recent File Picker application (the “App”), provided by Christian Konrad (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Recent File Picker, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.
1. Recent File Picker Service
Recent File Picker provides convenient access to recent files on your Mac, directly accessible via the notch area of your display. Users can select specific folders to track recent file activity, allowing immediate access to newly created, downloaded, or modified files.
The App offers a freemium model:
- Free Version: Monitor one folder of your choice.
- Unlimited Version: Unlock unlimited folder monitoring through a one-time in-app purchase.
2. Eligibility and Access
- No account creation is required to use Recent File Picker.
- There are no age restrictions for users.
- No third-party authentication or additional user roles exist.
3. Payments and Purchases
Recent File Picker operates with a one-time purchase option:
- Payments for the Unlimited Version are processed exclusively via Apple’s in-app purchase system.
Refund Policy
Refund requests are managed exclusively by Apple through the App Store refund system. Users can request refunds within Apple’s specified terms.
4. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy and do not collect, store, or share any personal data:
- No personal information (e.g., email, location, payment details) is collected.
- Payments are securely handled by Apple’s in-app purchase system; we do not directly process or store financial data.
- The App does not utilize third-party analytics or advertising services.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
- Recent File Picker, its software, branding, logos, and all associated intellectual property rights are exclusively owned by Christian Konrad.
- Users are prohibited from copying, modifying, redistributing, or otherwise misusing the App’s content beyond its intended functionality.
6. User Conduct
Recent File Picker is a productivity-focused app and does not include interactive features, content sharing, or user-generated content:
- No specific prohibited behaviors are outlined.
- No moderation or reporting mechanisms are provided or necessary.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Recent File Picker is provided “as is”, without warranties or guarantees:
- We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free use.
- We hold no liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.
- Users assume full responsibility for their use of Recent File Picker.
8. Termination
- Recent File Picker does not create user accounts, thus no termination or account deletion processes are applicable.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Hamburg, Germany.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes relating to Recent File Picker will be settled through arbitration, mediation, or small claims court, as appropriate.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated clearly within the App. Significant updates may require user acceptance before continued use.
